1 quart strawberries, sliced
1 cup loosely packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup boiling water
1 cup sour cream
Mix water with the brown sugar, stir until dissolved and runny. Add vanilla and sour cream. Mix well (should taste like caramel). Refrigerate a few hours. Add berries before serving. May top with a few blueberries before serving for added color.
