Driftless Region is Seeking a Summer Intern

Join Happy Dancing Turtle - Driftless Region this summer for a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working with PreK-6th grade students in an educational and outdoor recreation setting! We're looking for an intern to assist with the smooth operation of an environmental education day camp for kids, which includes planning, creating curriculum, and running five weeks of camp!

Schedule can be flexible during non-camp weeks to meet your internship needs, with opportunities for flexible hours, to assist with other programs and/or environmental education initiatives, like creating educational social media posts, writing blogs, curriculum development, etc. A summer of outdoor fun with kids in the beauty of the Driftless Region awaits! There is opportunity for an end-of-summer bonus!

2025 Camp Dates:

Grades 1 & 2: June 9 - 13 & June 23-27

Grades 3 & 4: July 7-11

Grades 5 & 6: July 21 - 25

PreK & Kindergarten: Aug 4 - 8
